Connect to the ModMed Certified FHIR API with Nango and see data flow in a few minutes. This integration uses ModMedβs Bulk FHIR flow: machine-to-machine, JWT-signed authentication, with no end-user OAuth redirect.This is ModMedβs Certified (ONC) FHIR API. For the EMA Proprietary API, use the ModMed integration instead.

Create the integration
In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations β Configure New Integration β ModMed (FHIR). Register your Client ID, Key ID, Private Key, and Scope in the Settings tab β see the setup guide. These are entered once and reused automatically by every connection.

Connect a practice
Each connection represents one practice. Create it by supplying that practiceβs FHIR Host β see the connect guide for the exact field.

Call the ModMed FHIR API
Make your first request. Nangoβs proxy base URL is the practiceβs FHIR host, so include the FHIR version (Or fetch credentials with the Node SDK or API.β
Youβre connected! Check the Logs tab in Nango to inspect requests.
