🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the Metaview MCP server with Nango and call MCP tools in minutes. Metaview MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so no app registration is required.
1

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations → Configure New Integration → Metaview (MCP).
2

Authorize Metaview

Go to Connections → Add Test Connection → Authorize, then log in to your Metaview account. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.
3

Call the Metaview MCP API

Make your first MCP request (initialize handshake). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:
✅ You’re connected! Check the Logs tab in Nango to inspect requests.
4

Implement Nango in your app

Follow our Auth implementation guide to integrate Nango in your app.

📚 Metaview (MCP) guides

Nango uses dynamic client registration with Metaview’s OAuth server (auth.metaview.ai). You don’t need to register an app. Create the integration in Nango and authorize with your Metaview account. Official site: Metaview

API gotchas

  • The MCP server is at https://mcp.metaview.ai/mcp and uses streamable HTTP. Send Accept: application/json, text/event-stream. Nango sets this header for you.
  • Nango requests the offline_access scope so it gets a refresh token and keeps the connection alive.
  • Tools act as the Metaview user who authorized the connection, with that user’s access.
