Connect to Rapid7 with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Rapid7.

Authorize Rapid7

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then select your region and enter your API key. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Rapid7 API

Let’s make your first request to the Rapid7 API to validate your API key. Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

API gotchas

Nango sends requests to https://<region>.api.insight.rapid7.com. Each product API has its own path under that host, for example /idr/v1/investigations for InsightIDR. See the product API list.
A user key has the same permissions as the user who created it. An organization key can access every product in the organization.
