To get started with the Jobvite API:
  1. File a support ticket at Jobvite Support requesting API access
  2. Provide:
    • Your use case for the API You will receive:
  • API Key and Secret Key (works in both Stage and Production)

API gotchas

  • API has two environments: Production and Stage/Staging
  • Rate limits are per API key/secret pair
  • Rate limits per API key/secret pair:
    • Daily limits:
      • GET/PUT Candidate: 20,000 requests
      • POST Employee Sync: 500 requests
      • GET/POST/PUT Requisition (Job): 500 requests
      • POST Contact: 500 requests
    • All APIs:
      • 15 requests per minute
      • 850 requests per hour
  • Rate limits reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT)
