ProductNow (MCP)

🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the ProductNow MCP server with Nango and call MCP tools in minutes. ProductNow MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so no app registration is required.

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations → Configure New Integration → ProductNow (MCP).

Authorize ProductNow

Go to Connections → Add Test Connection → Authorize, then log in to your ProductNow account. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the ProductNow MCP API

Make your first MCP request (initialize handshake). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

📚 ProductNow (MCP) guides

Nango discovers ProductNow’s OAuth server from the MCP server itself and registers a client automatically, so you do not need to register an MCP application — just create the integration in Nango and authorize with your ProductNow account. Nango requests the offline_access scope ProductNow advertises, which returns a refresh token; access tokens are short-lived, so Nango refreshes them for you. Tool calls run as the ProductNow user who authorized the connection.
