🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Wistia with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Wistia.

Authorize Wistia

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then enter your Wistia API token. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Wistia API

Let’s make your first request to the Wistia API to get details about the connected token. Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

API gotchas

Nango sends x-wistia-api-version: 2026-09 on every call. To use another API version, set the version connection config field; when it is unset, 2026-09 applies.
Uploads are served from https://upload.wistia.com, not from https://api.wistia.com. Call them with baseUrlOverride set to https://upload.wistia.com; Nango keeps the connection’s credentials and headers. See Making API Requests.
