🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Checkbox with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Checkbox.

Authorize Checkbox

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then select your Checkbox environment (production or sandbox) and enter your Checkbox Partner API key. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Checkbox API

Let’s make your first request to the Checkbox API. Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

🔌 Calling the Create Assessment API

Checkbox has two APIs, and one API key and one Nango connection cover both:

Matter Management (Partner API) is served under /partner/api/v1/ticketing from the connection’s environment: https://app.checkbox.ai for production or https://sandbox.checkbox-app.com for sandbox. Nango uses this base URL by default, so no extra setup is needed.
Create Assessment (POST /restapi/v1/assessments) is served from the same base URL that Checkbox assigns to each environment. Nango adds the X-Consumer-Custom-Id header automatically when the connection’s Account ID is set.

With the HTTP proxy, send the same base URL in the Base-Url-Override header.
