Neon (MCP)

🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the Neon MCP server with Nango and call MCP tools in minutes. Neon MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so no app registration is required.

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), open Integrations, select Configure New Integration, and choose Neon (MCP).

Authorize Neon

Open Connections, select Add Test Connection, and authorize access to your Neon account. Neon asks whether to grant read and write access. Later, you’ll let your users authorize directly from your app.

Call the Neon MCP API

Make your first MCP request with the initialize handshake. Replace the placeholders below with your Nango Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:
