🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the Raindrop MCP server with Nango and start calling tools in minutes. Raindrop MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so no app registration is required.
1

Create the integration

In Nango (free signup), go to IntegrationsConfigure New IntegrationRaindrop (MCP).
2

Authorize Raindrop

Go to ConnectionsAdd Test ConnectionAuthorize, then log in to your Raindrop account. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.
3

Call the Raindrop MCP API

Let’s make your first request to the Raindrop MCP server. Replace the placeholders below with your secret key, integration ID, and connection ID:
curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/mcp" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-SECRET-KEY>" \
  -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
  -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"initialize","params":{"protocolVersion":"2024-11-05","capabilities":{},"clientInfo":{"name":"nango","version":"1.0.0"}},"id":1}'
✅ You’re connected! Check the Logs tab in Nango to inspect requests.

Implement Nango in your app

📚 Raindrop (MCP) guides

Nango uses dynamic client registration via OAuth metadata discovery with Raindrop’s MCP server. You do not need to register an MCP application — just create the integration in Nango and authorize with your Raindrop account. Official resources: Raindrop MCP
