Create an integration

In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Ashby.

Authorize Ashby

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then enter your Ashby API key. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Ashby API

Let’s make your first request to the Ashby API (fetch a list of all candidates in an organization). Replace the placeholders below with your secret key, integration ID, and connection ID:

Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

Or fetch credentials dynamically via the Node SDK or API.

Ashby gives you only an API Key but uses Basic auth for the API. Pass the API Key as the username to Nango and leave the password blank.
The apiKey.info scope is required for the api key to pass verification.
