1
Become a Hive API partner
Contact your Hive representative to become an API partner. You’ll receive a welcome email once your Partner Portal access is set up.
2
Get your client ID and secret
In the Partner Portal, copy your Client ID under API Credentials, then click Generate new secret and copy the Client Secret.
3
Add Nango's redirect URI
Under Redirect URIs, add
https://api.nango.dev/oauth/callback (or your own custom callback URL). Hive only accepts registered callback URLs.4
Add the credentials in Nango
In your Hive integration in Nango, paste the client ID and secret, then add the scopes you need (for example
contacts:read contacts:write segments:read segments:write). Hive issues tokens with no API access when no scopes are requested, and recommends requesting all of them: events:read, events:write, orders:read, orders:write, contacts:read, contacts:write, segments:read, segments:write and campaigns:read. Nango sends your client ID in the X-Partner-Id header that every Hive API request needs.5
