TinyURL - How do I link my account?

Overview

To authenticate with TinyURL, you need:

1. API Token — an API token from your TinyURL account settings.

This guide will show you how to get it.

Prerequisites

• A TinyURL account. Free plan users can use the API: sign up.

Step 1: Create an API token

1. Sign in to TinyURL. If you just signed up, verify your email address first.
2. Open your profile menu and go to Settings > API, or open the API settings page.

3. Under Your Tokens, enter a Token Name.
4. Tick only the permissions your integration needs.
5. Click Create Token.

6. In the API Token pop-up, click Copy To Clipboard and store the token somewhere safe.

Step 2: Enter your API token in the Connect UI

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with TinyURL.
2. Enter your API Token in the designated field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to TinyURL.
