Overview

To authenticate with TheirStack, you will need:

1. API Key - A secret key used to authenticate requests to the TheirStack API.

This guide will walk you through generating your API key in TheirStack.

Prerequisites

• A TheirStack account with access to Settings → API Keys.

Instructions

Step 1: Generate your API key

1. Log in to your TheirStack account.
2. Navigate to Settings → API Keys.
3. Click Create API key.

4. Give your key a name and choose an expiration policy — either a specific date or Never. We recommend choosing a long expiration or no expiration to avoid unexpected disruptions.

5. Copy your API key and store it somewhere safe. For security reasons, the key is only shown once.

Step 2: Enter your API key in the Connect UI

Once you have your API Key:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with TheirStack.
2. Enter your API Key in the designated field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to TheirStack.
