Overview

To authenticate with Sendcloud, you need:
  1. Client ID — the Public Key of a Sendcloud API integration.
  2. Client Secret — the Secret Key of the same Sendcloud API integration.
Nango exchanges these keys for an OAuth2 access token on your behalf. This guide will walk you through creating a Sendcloud API integration and finding its keys.

Prerequisites

Step 1: Create your Sendcloud API integration

  1. Log in to your Sendcloud account and go to Integrations.
  2. Find Sendcloud API in the list of integrations and click Connect.
  1. Enter a name for the API integration and click Save.
  2. Sendcloud automatically generates a Public Key and a Secret Key for the integration. Copy both.
When you add the API integration, Sendcloud offers a Use OAuth2 authentication setting. It enforces OAuth2 authentication instead of Basic authentication for that integration. Nango authenticates with OAuth2, so you can turn it on.
Do not share your Secret Key in publicly accessible areas such as GitHub or client-side code.

Step 2: Enter your credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your Public Key and Secret Key:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Sendcloud.
  2. Enter your Public Key in the Client ID field.
  3. Enter your Secret Key in the Client Secret field.
  4. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to Sendcloud.
