Overview

To authenticate with Salesmsg (PAT), you need:
  1. Personal Access Token - A key that grants secure access to the API, enabling authorized applications to interact with Salesmsg resources and services.
This guide will walk you through generating your Personal Access Token from Salesmsg.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a Salesmsg account.

Instructions

Step 1: Generate your Personal Access Token

  1. Log in to your Salesmsg account.
  2. Go to the Personal Access Tokens page.
  3. Click Create Token to generate your unique Personal Access Token.
  1. Copy the token and store it securely—you won’t be able to see it again.

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your Personal Access Token:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Salesmsg (PAT).
  2. Enter your Personal Access Token in the credentials field.
  3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to Salesmsg (PAT).
