This guide shows you how to create an OAuth client for Oracle Aconex to obtain your OAuth credentials (client ID & secret). These are required to let your users grant your app access to their Aconex account. Aconex uses the Oracle Construction and Engineering Lobby as its OAuth server.
1

Open OAuth Clients in the Lobby

Log in to the Oracle Construction and Engineering Lobby and select OAuth Clients from the main menu.
Only Lobby Admins can create OAuth clients.
2

Create an OAuth client

Click Add and fill in:
  • Name — a unique, meaningful name, such as your organization or integration name.
  • Description — what the integration does.
  • Resource Application — Aconex (the default).
  • Type — Web Server Application.
  • Redirect URL — https://api.nango.dev/oauth/callback
  • Organizations — the organizations to provision the client to.
Check the box to accept the terms of use, then click Add.
3

Copy your credentials

Find your new OAuth client in the list and click the eye icon to reveal the Client Secret. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret, then enter them in your Oracle Aconex integration in Nango.
4

Allow the integration in your identity domain (SSO or 2SV only)

Skip this step unless you’ve configured single sign-on (SSO) or two-step verification (2SV) in your own Identity Domain.
  • SSO — go to Security > IdP Policies, select your policy, click Apps > Add app, then search for and select your OAuth client.
  • 2SV — go to Security > MFA > Sign-on policies, select your organization’s policy, click Add app, then search for and select your OAuth client.
