This guide shows you how to register your own app with Onshape to obtain your OAuth credentials (client ID & secret). These are required to let your users grant your app access to their Onshape account. Onshape requires all apps distributed through the Onshape App Store to authenticate with OAuth2.
1

Open your Onshape developer settings

Sign in to cad.onshape.com and open your developer settings:
  • Company, Classroom, or Enterprise accounts: open your Company/Classroom/Enterprise Settings.
  • Individual accounts: click your profile name, then click My Account Settings.
Click Developer from the left menu, click the OAuth application tab, then click Create new OAuth application.Fill in the form. For the Redirect URLs, enter https://api.nango.dev/oauth/callback. Select all the permissions, then click Create application.Copy the OAuth client identifier and OAuth client secret, as you’ll need them when configuring your app in Nango.
2

Configure the integration in Nango

In Nango, go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Onshape, and enter the Client ID and Client Secret you received.
