Overview

To authenticate with Luma, you will need:
  1. API Key - A key that grants full access to the Luma calendar it was created on.
This guide will walk you through creating your API Key within Luma.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have a Luma account with a Luma Plus subscription. The Luma API is only available on Luma Plus.

Instructions:

Step 1: Creating Your API Key

  1. Go to luma.com/calendar/manage/api-keys and select the calendar you want a key for
  2. Generate an API key
  3. Store it securely
API keys are scoped to a single calendar. Each calendar you want to manage via the API needs its own key.
Be careful with this API key since it grants full access to the calendar it’s scoped to.

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your API Key:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Luma.
  2. Enter your API Key in its respective field.
  3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to Luma.
