Overview

To authenticate with Grain, you need:
  1. Personal Access Token - A token that gives access to all meetings your Grain user can access.
This guide walks you through generating a personal access token and connecting it to Nango.

Prerequisites

  • A Grain account.

Instructions

Step 1: Generate a personal access token

  1. Sign in to Grain.
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations > Personal API, or open the Personal API page directly.
  3. Under Personal tokens, click Generate personal API token.
  1. Copy the token and store it securely. It starts with grain_pat_.
The token has the same access as your Grain user and doesn’t expire until you revoke it. For more details, see Grain’s authentication docs.

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your Personal Access Token:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Grain.
  2. Paste your token into the Personal Access Token field.
  3. Click Connect.
You are now connected to Grain.
