This guide shows you how to register your own app with Discogs to obtain your OAuth credentials (consumer key and consumer secret). These are required to let your users grant your app access to their Discogs account.
1

Create a Discogs account

If you do not already have one, sign up for a free account at Discogs.
2

Open developer settings

3

Create a new application

  1. Click Create an app (or Add new application).
  2. Fill in the application name and description.
  3. Set the callback URL to Nango’s OAuth callback:
For local development, you can also add http://localhost:3003/oauth/callback.
4

Copy your credentials

After creating the application, copy your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. You will enter these when configuring the Discogs integration in Nango.
Keep your consumer secret secure and never share it publicly.
5

Add credentials to Nango

In Nango, go to your Discogs integration settings and add:
  • Consumer Key
  • Consumer Secret
Save your configuration.
