Overview

To connect with Datadog OAuth, you need:

1. Site Parameter - The Datadog site your account lives on.
2. Authorization Host - The web application host for that same site. This is a separate value because Datadog’s API host (api.<site parameter>) and its web application host don’t follow the same pattern for every site.

This guide walks you through finding both values.

Step 1: Finding your Datadog site

Match your Datadog URL (in your browser) to the corresponding site, then use the Site parameter and Authorization host columns to fill in the two fields in Nango:

Step 2: Enter your site parameter and authorization host in Nango

1. Open the Datadog (OAuth) connection form in Nango.
2. Select your Site Parameter and matching Authorization Host from the table above.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Datadog (OAuth).
