TextUs - How do I link my account?

Overview

To authenticate with TextUs, you need:

1. API Token — A token that grants Nango permission to call the TextUs API on your behalf, scoped to the user that creates it.

This guide will walk you through finding this within TextUs.

Prerequisites

• An account with TextUs.

Step 1: Generate an API token

1. Log in to account.
2. Click your user icon in the top right, then click Profile.

3. In the sidebar, click Advanced user settings, then API Tokens.
4. Enter a description for the token and click Create Token.
5. Copy the generated token immediately — TextUs only shows it once.

Your token never expires. It is tied to the user that created it, and only that user can revoke it (also from the API Tokens page).

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your API Token:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with TextUs.
2. Enter your API Token in its respective field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to TextUs.
