Overview

To authenticate with Linkly, you need an API key — a Bearer token that grants access to the workspaces of your Linkly account (links, domains, click analytics and webhooks). This guide will walk you through finding your API key within Linkly and connecting it to Nango.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have a Linkly account. Sign up at linklyhq.com — the API is available on every plan, including the free plan.

Step 1: Finding your API key

  1. Log in to the Linkly app at app.linklyhq.com.
  2. Open SettingsAPI (direct link).
  3. Under API Token, click Copy. The same page lists your workspace IDs, which you will need for workspace-scoped endpoints.
Keep your API key secret — it grants full access to every workspace on your Linkly account. You can regenerate it from the same page.

Step 2: Enter your API key in Nango

Once you have your API key:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Linkly.
  2. Enter the API key in the designated field.
  3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to Linkly.
