# Redtail CRM (Sandbox) - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Redtail CRM (Sandbox), you need:

1. **Username** - The username used to log in to your Redtail CRM account.
2. **Password** - The password associated with the above Redtail account.
3. **API Key** - This is a partner-level key that grants access to the Redtail API.

This guide will walk you through generating y.

### Prerequisites:

* You must have an account with Redtail CRM.

### Instructions:

#### Step 1: Finding Your Credentials

* These are the same credentials you use to log into your Redtail CRM account.

#### Step 2: Finding Your API Key

* The **API Key** is a unique identifier assigned to you (or your organization) by the Redtail. You will need to request it directly.

1. To request your API Key:

* [Email](mailto:partnersupport@redtailtechnology.com)
* Include your Username and specify that you're requesting an API Key for API integration purposes.

#### Step 3: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **API Key**, **Username** and **Password**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Redtail CRM (Sandbox).
2. Enter your **API Key**, **Username** and **Password** in their designated fields.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
