# MIP On Premise - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with MIP On Premise, you need four key pieces of information:

1. **HOST\_REST** - The REST service URL for the on premise API service.
2. **YOUR\_ID** - Your login ID for MIP Fund Accounting.
3. **YOUR\_PASSWORD** - Your password for MIP Fund Accounting.
4. **YOUR\_ORG** - The MIP Fund Accounting database you will be using.

This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within MIP.

### Prerequisites:

* You must have valid login credentials for MIP On Premise.

### Instructions:

#### Step 1: Finding the HOST\_REST variable

* This is provided in your enrollment materials

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have the **HOST\_REST ID**, **ID**, **PASSWORD** and **YOUR\_ORG**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with MIP.
2. Enter the **ID** in the designated field.
3. Enter the **Password** in the password field.
4. Enter the **ORG** in the org field.
5. Enter the **HOST\_REST** in the HOST\_REST Key field.
6. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to MIP.
