# symplr CTM - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with symplr CTM (ClearConnect), you need:

1. **Site Name** — the customer site identifier from your ClearConnect base URL.
2. **Username** and **Password** — the ClearConnect API credentials for a CTM user.

This guide will walk you through finding these within symplr CTM.

### Prerequisites

* An account with [symplr Contingent Talent Management](https://www.symplr.com/contingent-talent-management).
* A CTM user with ClearConnect API access.

### Step 1: Locate your ClearConnect credentials

1. Identify your CTM site name from the URL you use to access your CTM application, for example `https://ctms.contingenttalentmanagement.com/myCTM` — the site name here is `myCTM`.
2. Use the **Username** and **Password** of a CTM user with ClearConnect access. ClearConnect access must be enabled for the user from within Contingent Staffing by your CTM administrator.
3. If you don't have these credentials, contact your CTM administrator or [symplr support](mailto:ctmsupport@symplr.com).

### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **Site Name**, **Username**, and **Password**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with symplr CTM.
2. Enter your **Site Name**, **Username**, and **Password** in their respective fields.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to symplr CTM.
