# Streak - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Streak, you need:

1. **API Key** - A key that grants Nango permission to interact with Streak's API resources and services.

This guide will walk you through generating your **API Key** within Streak.

### Prerequisites

* You must have a Streak account.
* The Streak extension must be installed in your Gmail account.

### Instructions

#### Step 1: Generating Your API Key

1. Navigate to Streak's [home page](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#streak/home) and click the **Integrations & Automations** button at the top.

2. Select **Custom integrations**.

3. Click the **+ Create new key** button to generate an **API Key**.

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **API Key**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Streak.
2. Enter your **API Key** in its designated field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Streak.
