# Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate

> Integrate your application with the Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate API

Sage 300 CRE (formerly Timberline) is different from Sage 300 (Accpac) and Sage 300 People — each has its own separate API. This integration is for Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate specifically.

Its Web APIs only run on-premise on Windows — there's no cloud-hosted option — so each connection needs that accounting server's hostname in addition to credentials. Every request also carries a Sage Development Partner Program (DPP) license key, which is usually preconfigured once on the integration itself rather than entered per connection.
