# Publora

> Integrate your application with the Publora API

## Quickstart

Connect to Publora with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes. The Publora API uses API key authentication, so no user redirect is required.

**1. Create the integration**

In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Publora*.

**2. Connect Publora**

Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection*. Enter your Publora API key, then save.

**3. Call the Publora API**

Let's make your first request to the Publora API: list the social accounts the key can publish to. Replace the placeholders below with your [secret key](https://app.nango.dev/dev/environment-settings), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

**cURL**

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/api/v1/platform-connections" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-SECRET-KEY>" \
  -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
  -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"
```

**Node**

Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

```typescript theme={null}
import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
const nango = new Nango({ secretKey: '<NANGO-SECRET-KEY>' });
const res = await nango.get({
    endpoint: '/api/v1/platform-connections',
    providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
    connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>'
});
console.log(res.data);
```

Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/sdks/node.md#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connection/get.md).

You're connected! Check the [Logs](https://app.nango.dev/dev/logs) tab in Nango to inspect requests.

**4. Implement Nango in your app**

Follow our [Auth implementation guide](https://nango.dev/docs/guides/auth/auth-guide.md) to integrate Nango in your app.

To obtain your own production credentials, follow the setup guide linked below.

## Publora integration guides

Nango maintained guides for common use cases.

* [How to get your Publora API key](https://nango.dev/docs/api-integrations/publora/connect)
  Generate an API key in the Publora dashboard and connect it to Nango

Official docs: [Publora API docs](https://docs.publora.com)

## Pre-built syncs & actions for Publora

Enable them in your dashboard. Extend and customize to fit your needs.

*No pre-built syncs or actions available yet.*

> [!TIP]
>
> Not seeing the integration you need? [Build your own](https://nango.dev/docs/guides/functions/functions-guide.md) independently.

## Common scopes

Publora does not use scopes. An API key grants access to every social account connected to the Publora workspace it belongs to.

## API gotchas

* Every endpoint lives under `/api/v1`, so proxy calls look like `/api/v1/create-post`.
* Posting targets are opaque connection IDs in the form `platform-id`, for example `linkedin-n20H8w1Omj`. Read them from `GET /api/v1/platform-connections` and pass them verbatim in `platforms`; they cannot be constructed from a platform name.
* `POST /api/v1/create-post` without `scheduledTime` saves a draft. With an ISO 8601 UTC timestamp it schedules the post. A timestamp in the past is treated as immediate.
* Instagram, TikTok and YouTube reject posts without media. Attach `mediaUrls` (public https URLs that Publora downloads server-side) or upload files through `/api/v1/get-upload-url` and `/api/v1/complete-media/{mediaFileId}`.
* Pinterest can be connected but cannot be published to.
* Character limits differ per network and are enforced by Publora at publish time, not at creation time.
* The free Starter plan allows 15 posts a month across three connected accounts, which is enough to test an integration end to end without a card.
* The same API key also authenticates Publora's remote MCP server at `https://mcp.publora.com/mcp`, if you would rather drive it from an agent.
