# Postmark - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with Postmark, you need:

1. **Server API Token** — the API token of the Postmark server you want to connect.

This guide will show you how to find it.

### Prerequisites

* A Postmark account. If you don't have one, [sign up](https://account.postmarkapp.com/sign_up): every account starts on the free Developer plan, which includes 100 emails every month.

### Step 1: Copy your Server API token

1. Sign in to [Postmark](https://account.postmarkapp.com/login) and open [Servers](https://account.postmarkapp.com/servers).
2. Select the server you want to connect, or click **Create server** to make a new one.

3. Open the server's **API Tokens** tab.
4. Copy the token under **Server API tokens**. Click **Generate another token** if you want a separate token for this connection.

### Step 2: Enter your Server API token in the Connect UI

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Postmark.
2. Enter your token in the **Server API Token** field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Postmark.
