# Pleo (API Key)

> Integrate your application with the Pleo API using a Standalone API Key

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Pleo with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

<Note>
  Standalone API Keys aren't self-service — Pleo has to enable access for your organization first. See the [connect guide](/docs/api-integrations/pleo-api-key/connect) for details.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step id="create-integration" title="Create the integration">
    In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Pleo (API Key)*.
  </Step>

  <Step id="authorize-pleo" title="Authorize Pleo">
    Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Authorize*, then enter your **API Subdomain** and **API Key**. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.
  </Step>

  <Step id="call-the-api" title="Call the Pleo API">
    Let's make your first request to the Pleo API (confirm the connected installation). Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="cURL">
        ```bash theme={null}
        curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/v1/installations/me" \
          -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
          -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
          -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"
        ```
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Node">
        Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

        ```typescript theme={null}
        import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
        const nango = new Nango({ apiKey: '<NANGO-API-KEY>' });
        const res = await nango.get({
            endpoint: '/v1/installations/me',
            providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
            connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>'
        });
        console.log(res.data);
        ```
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>

    Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connection/get).

    ✅ You're connected! Check the [Logs](https://app.nango.dev/dev/logs) tab in Nango to inspect requests.
  </Step>

  <Step id="implement-in-app" title="Implement Nango in your app">
    Follow our [quickstart](/docs/getting-started/quickstart) to integrate Nango in your app.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## 📚 Pleo integration guides

Nango maintained guides for common use cases.

* [How do I link my account?](/docs/api-integrations/pleo-api-key/connect)\
  Request access, generate a Standalone API Key, and connect it to Nango

Official docs: [Standalone API Keys Overview](https://developers.pleo.io/docs/api-keys), [Pleo API reference](https://developers.pleo.io/reference/api-introduction)

<Note>
  For OAuth2-based, multi-customer integrations, use the [Pleo](/docs/api-integrations/pleo) integration instead — Standalone API Keys are scoped to a single company and aren't recommended for production integrations serving multiple customers.

## 🧩 Pre-built syncs & actions for Pleo

Enable them in your dashboard. Extend and customize to fit your needs.

*No pre-built syncs or actions available yet.*
