# Perk - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with Perk, you will need:

1. **Environment** - Whether to connect to Perk's production account or the Sandbox used for testing.

This guide will walk you through choosing your **Environment**.

### Prerequisites:

* You must have a Perk account (or a [Sandbox account](https://app.sandbox-perk.com/signup) for testing).

### Instructions:

#### Step 1: Choosing your environment

Perk uses different domains for production and testing:

* **Production**: `perk.com`
* **Sandbox**: `sandbox-perk.com` — an isolated environment with fake booking data, for testing integrations without touching live data.

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you've chosen your environment:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Perk.
2. Select the **Environment** you chose in step 1.
3. Submit the form and authorize the application when prompted.

You are now connected to Perk.
