# Infor (ION API)

> Integrate your application with Infor products through the ION API gateway

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Infor with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

<Note>
  Infor products (M3, LN, CloudSuite Financials, and others) all sit behind the same ION API gateway, but each exposes different endpoint paths. Check your product's own API reference for the exact path to call — the [connect guide](/docs/api-integrations/infor/connect) below explains where to find the values Nango needs to reach your gateway.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step id="create-integration" title="Create the integration">
    In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Infor (ION API)*.
  </Step>

  <Step id="authorize-infor" title="Authorize Infor">
    Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Authorize*, then enter your **Tenant**, **Authorization Server URL**, and **ION API Gateway URL**, and log in to Infor OS. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.
  </Step>

  <Step id="call-the-api" title="Call the Infor ION API">
    Let's make your first request to the ION Messaging Service's ping endpoint (confirms your gateway connection is up — it works regardless of which Infor product your tenant runs). Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="cURL">
        ```bash theme={null}
        curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/IONSERVICES/api/ion/messaging/service/ping" \
          -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
          -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
          -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"
        ```
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Node">
        Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

        ```typescript theme={null}
        import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
        const nango = new Nango({ apiKey: '<NANGO-API-KEY>' });
        const res = await nango.get({
            endpoint: '/IONSERVICES/api/ion/messaging/service/ping',
            providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
            connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>'
        });
        console.log(res.data);
        ```
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>

    For your actual product's data (M3, LN, CloudSuite Financials, etc.), check its own API reference for the right endpoint path.

    Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connection/get).

    ✅ You're connected! Check the [Logs](https://app.nango.dev/dev/logs) tab in Nango to inspect requests.
  </Step>

  <Step id="implement-in-app" title="Implement Nango in your app">
    Follow our [quickstart](/docs/getting-started/quickstart) to integrate Nango in your app.

    To obtain your own production credentials, follow the setup guide linked below.
  </Step>

## 🧩 Pre-built syncs & actions for Infor

Enable them in your dashboard. Extend and customize to fit your needs.
