# Firecrawl

> Integrate your application with the Firecrawl API

Firecrawl ([firecrawl.dev](https://www.firecrawl.dev/?utm_source=nango\&utm_medium=integration)) is an API to search, scrape, and interact with the web. It returns clean Markdown and structured data for AI systems.

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Firecrawl with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

<Steps>
  <Step id="create-integration" title="Create the integration">
    In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Firecrawl*.
  </Step>

  <Step id="authorize-firecrawl" title="Authorize Firecrawl">
    Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Firecrawl* -> enter your API key and click *Authorize*. See the [connect guide](/docs/api-integrations/firecrawl/connect) for how to obtain a key.
  </Step>

  <Step id="call-firecrawl-api" title="Call the Firecrawl API">
    Let's make your first request to the Firecrawl API (search the web). Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="cURL">
        ```bash theme={null}
        curl -X POST "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/v2/search" \
          -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
          -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
          -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>" \
          -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
          -d '{"query": "firecrawl", "limit": 3}'
        ```
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Node">
        Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

        ```typescript theme={null}
        import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
        const nango = new Nango({ apiKey: '<NANGO-API-KEY>' });
        const res = await nango.post({
            endpoint: '/v2/search',
            providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
            connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>',
            data: {
                query: 'firecrawl',
                limit: 3
            }
        });
        console.log(res.data);
        ```
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>

    Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connections/get).

    ✅ You're connected! Check the [Logs](https://app.nango.dev/dev/logs) tab in Nango to inspect requests.
  </Step>

  <Step id="implement-nango" title="Implement Nango in your app">
    Follow our [quickstart](/docs/getting-started/quickstart) to integrate Nango in your app.
