# Fiber AI - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Fiber AI, you will need:

1. **API Key** – A key that grants secure access to the Fiber AI API.

### Prerequisites

* An active Fiber AI account

### Instructions

#### Step 1: Getting your API key

1. Go to [api settings](https://fiber.ai/app/api) to obtain your **API Key**.
2. Copy your **API Key** and keep it secure.

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **API Key**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Fiber AI.
2. Enter your **API Key** in the API Key field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
