# Envoice - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with Envoice, you need:

1. **Environment** - The Envoice environment your connection uses.

This guide shows you how to pick the right environment.

### Prerequisites

* An Envoice account with access to the company you want to connect.

### Instructions

#### Step 1: Choose your environment

Envoice has two environments:

| Environment | Value | Use it with |
| - | - | - |
| Production (default) | `api.envoice.eu` | Production OAuth app credentials and live Envoice companies |
| Sandbox | `demo-api.envoice.eu` | Development (sandbox) OAuth app credentials and test companies |

The environment must match the credentials of the Envoice integration in Nango. Production credentials do not work against the sandbox, and development credentials do not work against production.

#### Step 2: Enter your details in the Connect UI

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Envoice.
2. Select the **Environment**. The form selects `api.envoice.eu` (production) by default.
3. Click **Connect**, then log in to Envoice and choose the company to connect.

You are now connected to Envoice.
