# Set up Discogs with Nango

> Register an OAuth app with Discogs and obtain credentials to connect it to Nango

This guide shows you how to register your own app with Discogs to obtain your OAuth credentials (consumer key and consumer secret). These are required to let your users grant your app access to their Discogs account.

    If you do not already have one, sign up for a free account at [Discogs](https://www.discogs.com/).

  <Step id="open-developer-settings" title="Open developer settings">
    Go to [Discogs Developer settings](https://www.discogs.com/settings/developers).
  </Step>

  <Step id="create-application" title="Create a new application">
    1. Click **Create an app** (or **Add new application**).
    2. Fill in the application name and description.
    3. Set the callback URL to Nango's OAuth callback:

    ```
    https://api.nango.dev/oauth/callback
    ```

    <Tip>For local development, you can also add `http://localhost:3003/oauth/callback`.</Tip>

  <Step id="copy-credentials" title="Copy your credentials">
    After creating the application, copy your **Consumer Key** and **Consumer Secret**. You will enter these when configuring the Discogs integration in Nango.

    <Warning>Keep your consumer secret secure and never share it publicly.</Warning>

  <Step id="add-credentials-to-nango" title="Add credentials to Nango">
    In Nango, go to your Discogs integration settings and add:

    * **Consumer Key**
    * **Consumer Secret**

    Save your configuration.
