# Chameleon-i - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with Chameleon-i, you need:

1. **API Key** — a key that gives access to the Chameleon-i API.

This guide will show you how to get it.

### Prerequisites

* A Chameleon-i account with API access.

### Step 1: Get your API key

Contact Chameleon-i support at [support@chameleoni.com](mailto:support@chameleoni.com) to request an API key for your account.

### Step 2: Enter your API key in the Connect UI

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Chameleon-i.
2. Enter your **API Key** in the designated field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
