# CabinPanda - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with CabinPanda, you need:

1. **API Token** — a token created in your CabinPanda account settings.

This guide will show you how to create one.

### Prerequisites

* A CabinPanda account with a verified email address. If you don't have an account, [sign up](https://console.cabinpanda.com/register); every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

### Step 1: Create an API token

1. Sign in to the [CabinPanda console](https://console.cabinpanda.com/login).
2. Click **Settings** in the left sidebar, then under **Account Settings**, click **API**.
3. On the **API tokens** card, click **Create token**.

4. Enter a **Token name** (for example, `nango-integration`) and click **Create**.

5. In the **Token created** dialog, click the copy button next to the token. CabinPanda shows the token only once, so store it somewhere safe.

### Step 2: Enter your API token in the Connect UI

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with CabinPanda.
2. Paste your token in the **API Token** field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
