Nango raises $7.5M led by Gradient
We have raised $7.5M lead by Gradient to build product integrations with AI
AI products don’t operate in isolation. They work by connecting to everything else.
They pull context from CRMs, knowledge bases, support platforms, and call recorders. They take action across email, accounting, project management, and countless other systems.
Integrations are no longer optional: They’re a core part of every AI product.
As a result, the number of integrations each team needs to build has exploded.
Fortunately, AI can help build them too.
Nango is an open-source platform for building product integrations with AI.
-It lets you build, run, and maintain integrations with AI in code, on infrastructure built for scale.
Where we are today
Engineering teams used to spend weeks to months building a single customer facing integration: API authentication, data syncs, tenant isolation, resource scaling, security, and observability are complex when you build towards an API you don’t control.
Today, customers like Motion build hundreds of API integrations with Nango in a matter of weeks.
Since we started Nango in 2023, it has grown from an open-source project for API authentication to a full integrations platform that covers API auth, tool calls, 2-way syncs, triggers, webhooks, MCPs, and batch operations across 700+ APIs and 30 categories.
More than ten thousand engineering teams have already used Nango, and we are proud to power integrations for AI-leaders like Replit, Mercor, and Ramp.
The platform processes billions of API requests per month, and it still feels like we are only just getting started.
Where we are going
Today, we are excited to announce that Nango has raised $7.5M in seed funding, led by Gradient, with participation from Horizon, Y Combinator, and some of the world’s best founders, including Akshay Kothari (Notion) and John Kim (Sendbird).
We didn’t have to raise this round. In fact, Nango already generates several million in ARR, and we were cashflow positive when we decided to raise.
We decided to accelerate because the opportunity keeps getting bigger. AI powers more workflows by the day and is increasingly bottlenecked by the pace of adding integrations.
At the same time, coding agents offer an unprecedented chance to truly eliminate all engineering grunt work from integrations.
Thanks to our open-source, code-first architecture, Nango is uniquely positioned for this transition.
We are excited to launch the first wave of AI-tooling to build integrations this week. Follow us on X or LinkedIn for our announcements tomorrow.
Or learn more today by exploring our docs or trying Nango yourself.
Lastly, we are incredibly grateful for our customers and the community. We know that so much of where we are today is because of your support and trust. Thank you and we’re looking forward to continue building for you.
P.s. We are growing fast. If you love building developer platforms, we are hiring.
